Carol Herity

Carol Herity is Locality Director and Head of Partnerships for NHS Birmingham and Solihull Clinical Commissioning Groups.  Her current role in the CCG includes a focus of developing strong and mature relationships with partner agencies, with a particulate focus on the Third Sector.  The co-production of partnership initiatives that address inequalities in health outcomes is a key emphasis to her role. 

A trained Youth and Community Development worker she has over 25 years’ experience in the health sector.  Ranging from health promotion (sexual health and community development), General Management including development of family support network, organisational development, commissioning and service redesign.

Carol is passionate about working to end domestic abuse. This was born out of her early community development day’s in Ladywood where she facilitated the Ladywood Domestic Violence Forum
