Joanne Birch

Joanne is a qualified accountant, having qualified in 2003. Since 2009, she has worked in the charity sector for World Habitat. World Habitat works for a world where everyone has a safe and secure home in a successful community. Her current role is Head of Finances and Resources.

Her main responsibilities are to ensure the organisation has excellent Financial Management, manage the Human Resources, ensure the IT system is sufficient for the smooth running of the organisation and to manage the Land and Investment Portfolio.

Joanne is part of the senior management team that oversees the governance at World Habitat. She also attends meetings of the Board of Trustees and Finance Committee.

Joanne believes all women and children should have the right to live free from violence and is passionate about the work being carried out by the Birmingham and Solihull Women’s Aid.
