Celebrate International Women’s Day Event with Birmingham and Solihull Women’s Aid!

International Women’s Day (IWD) is a powerful global moment to recognise and celebrate the incredible social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women everywhere. It’s also a chance to come together and take action towards gender equality. And what better way to do that than with an event packed with fun, creativity, and inspiration?

BSWA is thrilled to host an empowering fundraiser celebrating women-led businesses and creativity —and we want YOU to be part of it!

🎉 What’s On? 🎉

  • Cricket Fun! 🏏 – Edgbaston Cricket Ground Women’s Group will lead a cricket activity in the garden.
  • Live Music! 🥁 – Moseley Drum! will bring the beats with a high-energy performance.
  • Get Creative! 🎨 – Paint a feminist postcard with a local artist.
  • For the Little Ones! 🎭 – Face painting fun for the little ones
  • Support Local Women-Led Businesses! 🛍️ – Explore fantastic stalls featuring handmade items crafted by our very own volunteers and craft groups.
  • Delicious Treats! ☕🥟 – Grab a snack at the ‘BSWA Café’ where samosas, spring rolls, and scrumptious cakes (generously donated by The Brutally Honest Bakery JQ) will be on sale.
  • Win Big! 🎟️ – Take part in our raffle for a chance to win some fantastic vouchers.
  • BSWA Info Stall ℹ️ – Learn more about how we support women and get involved.

This event is all about supporting, uplifting, and celebrating women while having an amazing time. Bring your friends, family, and community spirit—let’s make this International Women’s Day one to remember!
