Webchat Campaign
Since it’s launch in April 2020, the webchat service has helped hundreds of women and children to gain confidential advice and support about abuse they are experiencing, simply by typing on their phone, tablet or other device live to a member of our team. The service is free, and open 10am-4pm Monday to Friday. It is truly a lifeline for the women and children who use it, but we know that 5 days a week isn’t enough: abusers don’t stop controlling and abusing their partners at the weekend, and we know that for many people, a weekend will be an easier time to talk.
It’s why we urgently need to raise the money needed to extend the service into the weekend.
“It is so good to speak to someone who understands and is genuine. Both people I have spoken to have made me feel safe and worthy.”

“Thanks for understanding, it is such a great feeling to talk to someone genuine. At least I now have Women’s Aid who I can trust, since the first chat I have felt safe in talking with you.
I hope you know how the conversation with you has helped”
